Preschool Program

As of September 2023, Cairns Parc La Salle will offer a Preschool program for children
who are headed to school the following school year (in other words -
in their pre-Kindergarten year), starting in July of the year before. The program runs Mondays - Friday
from 7am to 6pm, except Statutory Holidays.

Strong Start

Strong Start is a program offered through Seine River School Division for Kindergarten children to enhance their Kindergarten
program from a half day to a full day program. In order to be eligible for the Strong Start program offered by
Cairns Children's Centre, the child must be a Kindergarten student registered at Parc La Salle school.
We provide a play-based learning environment for the children. The children enjoy outdoor play; circle time;
planned & unplanned activities; a story-time and a morning or afternoon snack.

Before and After School

Cairns Parc La Salle is located in two classrooms inside Parc La Salle School. We offer a
Before and After School program for children ages 5-12 for children who attend Parc La Salle or
La Barriere Crossing (LBC) School. Our hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.
and 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are open on all school Parc La Salle Inservice days.

Our program consists of activities planned based on the children's interests,
outside or gym time, unstructured play time, and a light snack/milk.

We offer full-day care for School-aged children during Inservice days
and Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks.
